Healthy Recipes: Cooking with Beer
As a dietitian, I know more about craft beer than I probably should. I worked at the San Antonio Flying Saucer Draught Emporium when I was in college at Texas State and had the opportunity to learn a lot about the brewing process and a significant amount of insight behind the different styles out there.
A healthy lifestyle includes flexibility and mindfulness. Cooking with beer in these wonderful, seemingly indulgent recipes has furthermore contributed to my appreciation of good booze.
Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling is a San Antonio favorite. These guys have a lot of integrity in what they do and produce high quality crafts.
I started locally as I build my archive of booze influenced (better-for-you) recipes. Expect to find quality ingredients and quick recipes below. Enjoy!
